You can visit our sites without having to reveal any personal information. Only connection data (see “Data collected by Cliken Web” below) is used by Cliken Web for statistical purposes to enrich the editorial content and adapt it to the needs of Internet users. Personal data (username, first name, last name, email address, etc.) may be collected from time to time, for example when requesting information via the contact page or when connecting to your customer area. The information that you agree to transmit allows us to respond to your requests and your requests for information about our services and our company. This personal data will only be kept for as long as necessary to carry out the function for which this information was obtained and is used in compliance with legal obligations. The personal data collected is neither communicated nor transferred to third parties. Cliken Web personnel having access to this data are restricted and are informed of their confidential nature.

Finally, no personal data is collected without your knowledge.

Audience measurement on our clients’ sites

Cliken Web provides a remote intangible service (Software as a Service, SaaS solution) in order to measure the audience of Internet, Intranet, Mobile sites and mobile applications. Cliken Web therefore provides its customers with an IT solution, via the Internet, which allows them to collect statistical traffic data on their online media and which is subsequently returned in an aggregated and anonymous manner in a web interface to which our customers only have access. With the data collected, each customer is able to improve the ergonomics of their site and the range of products or services they offer. This service is therefore used by general management as well as by the marketing, editorial or technical departments of the companies or organizations which have contracted our services. Cliken Web reminds its customers that they must also proceed, for the data collected by Cliken Web and of which they are ultimately the owners, to declarations of processing of personal data to the competent administrations and to the necessary legal formalities.

Data collected by Cliken Web

When an Internet user visits a medium audited by one of its solutions, Cliken Web collects statistical traffic data. These data are connection data relating, for example, to the browser used, the number of pages viewed, the number of visits, the Internet user's progress on a site, the time spent on a site, a page, the completion of the basket or its abandonment, etc. No primary personal data (last name, first name, telephone number, address, etc.) is collected on our initiative when providing the service using Cliken Web solutions. Only two types of secondary data (i.e. data from which it cannot be excluded that it could in certain cases be traced back to an individual) are collected by Cliken Web solutions, the cookie and the IP. .

Cookie and Unique Visitor:

A “cookie” is a text file which records information relating to the Internet user’s navigation on the Internet. It is under the control of the browser.

For Internet users, “cookies” are the best way to personalize their navigation. They often allow them to avoid repeating advertising messages and questions, but also to save time on sites where it is necessary to enter a username and/or password. For Cliken Web, “cookies” make it possible to obtain more detailed and relevant statistical studies. The use of cookies only allows us to refine the analyzes of JavaScript markers by recognizing a visitor as being unique during their different visits (knowing that it is the same Internet user without knowing who they are). These “cookies” only store a unique alphanumeric identifier specific to an Internet user’s device and are in no way used to collect personal information about visitors. All results obtained are compiled and completely anonymous. They mainly relate to navigation and behavior: number of visitors, visits, pages viewed and other information necessary to measure the interests of Internet users. They therefore make it possible to improve the ergonomics and content of the sites visited. Last technological point, Cliken Web solutions can use the so-called “first party” cookie (i.e. issued by the URL of the audited site and customer of Cliken Web) as well as the “third party” (emitted by the 'a URL belonging to Cliken Web: google.com) according to the needs expressed by its customers. In either case, the purpose stated above remains the same and no personal data is collected via these cookies.

IP and Geolocation:

During the data collection and processing process, Cliken Web uses the Internet user's IP for the sole purpose of geolocation of their connection device (regional precision or even city level for certain countries). In order to ensure better protection of privacy, Cliken Web also offers these customers the option of anonymizing the IP address: the last three digits of the IP address are immediately deleted after collection and before any geolocation operation. IP address anonymization is by default applied to the IP address of Internet users visiting Cliken Web customer sites. In order to protect this data, Cliken Web only keeps full and truncated IP addresses for a limited period of time (6 months), in encrypted form and without ever restoring them in the client interface or any other place on the site. business.

Geolocation of mobile devices:

Cliken Web has developed a technology for geolocation of mobile devices based on GPS coordinates, truncated to 2 digits after the decimal point. These coordinates are converted into a graphical representation (geographic map with heatmap); they therefore never appear in plain text in our clients’ interface. The geolocation of mobile devices also meets a very strict double opt-in. You can either deactivate geolocation for the entire mobile device, or by application. Cliken Web customers who wish to use geolocation functionalities undertake to implement this opt-in and respect the users' choice as well as their right of access, rectification and deletion.

Obligation of information for Internet users on the existence of the audience measurement service
